Welcome to Mrs. Watson's Teacher Page

Hello Washington Manor Middle School students and families! My name is Beth Watson and I have been teaching at WMMS for 26 years!  I look forward to working with you this year to make sure all students have the tools they need to be successful in middle school, high school and beyond. 

About me

I was born and raised in Hayward, CA.  In school I was in band and orchestra, and played the clarinet.  After graduating high school I attended the College of William and Mary in Virginia where I studied psychology and mathematics.  After graduating college I returned to the Bay Area.  I received my teaching credential in Mathematics at Cal State Hayward (now Cal State East Bay).  I also hold a Multiple Subject teaching credential.  

I am married and have two children - one son who is in 12th grade and one son who is a senior in college.  I also have two dogs named Sigmund and Jeffrey.  In addition, at my house we have a snake (ball python) and a leopard gecko!  My favorite hobbies are hiking, travel, and reading books.
