Boost@BerkeleyHaas provides a comprehensive support system, including weekend programming, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, and college advising, ensuring that students make the most of their academic journey. The program is tailored to the needs of talented, courageous, and hardworking students in the Bay Area who may benefit from additional guidance and encouragement.
Program Highlights:
- Services: Boost offers a range of services, including College Workshops, Career Readiness Workshops, Business Academy, internships, tutoring, and more. These resources are developed to meet the evolving needs of our students throughout their four-year experience.
- Target Audience: While all 8th-grade students are welcome to apply, preference is given to low-income students from Bay Area public schools with a 2.5-3.5 GPA, who would be the first in their family to attend college. Boost aims to provide opportunities to those who may face unique challenges in pursuing higher education.
