After much deliberation we have decided to end instruction for students this Friday, May 29, 2020 in order to allow for students pickup and drop off of belongings and for school staff to close up their classrooms and offices.

After Friday, May 29, 2020, teachers will not be expected to assign new work to students. All secondary student assignments are due by Friday, June 5, 2020 for grading purposes.

Schools will be sending out site-specific information to their families about how and when students will be able to pick up and drop off necessary items.

Graduating seniors and students who will not be returning to SLZUSD in the fall are the only students that need to return their Chromebooks during drop off time. We have decided to allow students to keep their Chromebooks over the summer to allow access to potential learning activities.

Please let your school office know if your child will not be returning to the same school in the fall as expected.
